Donghua Limited, the UK arm of one of the world's largest chain manufacturers, exhibited at the Made in the Midlands Exhibition at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
Donghua snapped up the last stand which unexpectedly became available the morning they joined a few weeks ago, providing them with a timely opportunity to promote themselves fully at the network's annual exhibition.
Bob Wellsbury, managing director of Donghua Limited, said: "We've attended a large number of trade and industry shows over the years and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the upbeat atmosphere at the Made in the Midlands Expo. People who attended wanted to be there and were genuinely interested in meeting other members of the Made in the Midlands network. As well as making new contacts, we also had a couple of very positive chain enquiries."
Donghua showcased a range of industrial chain including standard conveyor chain, chain with attachments, chain with rubber attachment which is used for protecting white goods as they are transported around facilities, and chain with extended pins. The chain samples hung in a purpose-built metal frame with clear Perspect chain shaped sides, giving visitors a tactile way to view their chain.
Donghua is looking forward to continuing to get to know members of the Made in the Midlands network and is planning to host an event at their UK headquarters in Wolverhampton in the autumn/winter.
